
As a cooperating foreman, you coordinate projects but work simultaneously. You ensure that the projects within the workshop run smoothly and are responsible for and direct the mechanics in the workshop. You monitor the progress of projects, solve any problems adequately and supervise the (student) mechanics in their technical/professional development.
What will you do?
- Actively participate on the shop floor and supervise the execution of work, within our various disciplines of panel building and (machine) assembly;
- Distribute tasks within the team and ensure efficient distribution of work;
- Monitor progress, quality and safety of work;
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues and support with complex tasks;
- Solve technical problems and ensure continuity of operations;
- Meet regularly with the project manager to discuss the status of the project and any bottlenecks;
- Ensure project schedule is met and delivery is smooth.
What do we ask of you?
- A mbo/hbo working and thinking level and affinity for engineering;
- You have experience in managing a team;;
- You have full command of the Dutch language, basic command of English is desirable;
- Experience in panel building is a plus.
